Founded in 1894, Williams Shipping has supported vessel operators in and around the UK for over 125 years. Operating our own fleet of workboats, we understand first-hand the challenges and pressures that face our customers, and the importance of lubrication for fleet efficiency.
We also operate our own road transport division which handles a wide range of cargoes. Having an in-house fleet enables us to maintain the high levels of customer service our customers rely on. Our dedicated marine lubricants trucks are fitted with onboard pumping units, enabling us to deliver in both packed product and bulk. These vehicles also carry on-board spill equipment and fire-fighting equipment, and our drivers are familiar with the various port procedures that need to be complied with.
Our marine lubricants division has been in operation since the 1950s and in that time we have built up an unrivalled reputation amongst vessel owners and operators. We have built strong relationships with many of the most important organisations in the marine sector, who have come to rely on us for quality of service, responsiveness and expertise.

In-house delivery fleet
We operate our own fleet of purpose-built marine lubricant delivery trucks with dedicated onboard pumping units. We also operate a fleet of marine workboats and barges, enabling us to offer delivery over water at selected ports. Having our own vehicles and vessels enables us to maintain tight quality control standards throughout the delivery process. It also gives us the flexibility to accommodate changes to schedule or location to make sure your vessels aren’t unnecessarily delayed. We can deliver in bulk or in packed products, on land or over water. Our drivers are familiar with the procedures and health & safety requirements of ports and other delivery locations across the UK and Ireland.
