Castrol Cyltech 40SX is a 40 BN high detergent, premium marine diesel engine cylinder lubricant for two-stroke crosshead engines running on low-sulphur fuels.

Cyltech 40SX meets the requirements of MAN Diesel & Turbo, WinGD (Wärtsilä) & MHI (Mitsubishi) for operation on low sulphur fuel under conditions as specified in their current oil recommendation list.

Applications

  • Suitable for prolonged operation on low-sulphur fuel (distillate or heavy fuel <2.0% sulphur) with appropriately adjusted feed rates

  • May be used with fuels of less than 0.1% sulphur for short term use
